Edetal Gel

Omega Dent Edetal Gel is a chelating agent designed to facilitate mechanical root canal enlargement. It decalcifies canal walls, lubricates instruments, and enhances debris removal.

Edetal gel is a neutral gel for lubricating endodontic tools and facilitating filing to make root canal shaping more efficient. Gel reacts with tooth mineral content and thereby forms easy for preparation porous structure. Gel in combination with sodium hypochlorite provides the best cleaning of root canal. While EDTA dissolves inorganic deposits in root canal, sodium hypochlorite dissolves organic remains. Foam formation facilitates the cleaning of root canal.
